Toddler and Pre – School Room Leader

Location: London, Royal Wharf – London Borough of Newham (E16)

Salary: up to £34,000 per year

Job type: Permanent, Full-time, 40 Hours per week

Our client, a 2 site and well – established nursery in the heart of London, are seeking a passionate Room leader to join the Toddler Room team and provide care and education to young children. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, providing a safe and nurturing environment, and monitoring the progress of each child. The ideal candidates will have experience working with young children, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities for children.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
  • Provide emotional support to children and their families.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programmes for children.
  • Monitor and record children’s progress.
  • Communicate with parents and other professionals regarding the care of children.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Previous experience in an early years setting is preffered
  • Full and relevant DBS
